‘Wake‘ is an abstract aerial photograph of one of the many ponds located on the way to and surrounding Yorke Peninsula, South Australia.
Salt lakes (ponds) can be a vibrant pink colour due to high salinity levels, or they can change from white to pink to blue depending on the salt content and season. At various times of the day and year, the colour spectrum can be anywhere from purple to blue, orange to white, or silver to pink.
