‘Uncovered‘ is an abstract aerial photograph of a landscape in South Australia. This photograph is part of a series called ‘Abstract in Nature’. The series of photographs highlights the unseen and abstract beauty of surfaces that are created in nature.
This particular photograph is from salt fields that have been partly harvested, uncovering a variation of colours and patterns underneath the salt. One can only assume it is a combination of salt, algae, water and soil.
This photograph has an Asymmetrical style. Whilst each side is very different, each side complements and provides balance to the overall structure of the image.
