Turquoise Sunset‘ is an aerial photograph taken in the late afternoon sun in Guichen Bay, Robe, South Australia. When I ever think of Robe and the ocean, it brings joy to my soul and many happy memories.

The bay was first charted in 1802 by Baudin and Péron of the Baudin expedition. Baudin named the bay Ances des Albatross, revised after his death to Guichen Bay to honour French war hero Luc Urbain de Bouëxic, comte de Guichen.

260gsm premium white satin lustre paper is used with Epson Ultrachrome archival inks to produce beautifully rich, vibrant colours and deep blacks.
