Sunshine Blush‘ is an aerial photograph of The Bluff, or Rosetta Head… or Kongkengguwar by the local indigenous Ramindjeri people.

I took a number of photos on this day, this one later in the day. The afternoon sunshine shone a different light on the rocks than earlier in the day. Whilst the light was a little brighter, it did bring out the beautiful colour of orange from the lichen that has grown amongst the rocks. I also like the different angle and the distance in this photograph, compared to many of the others I took on this day; also a variation in shape and size.

The Bluff is a headland located on the south coast of Fleurieu Peninsula in Encounter Bay, South Australia, within the local government area of the City of Victor Harbor. It is a prominent landmark on the coast, about 77 kilometres (48 miles) south of the state capital of Adelaide.

The photograph is printed on 260gsm premium white satin lustre paper. Other printing options are available, including size, matts, frames, and canvas. Please message me for customised options and costings.
