‘Scorched Earth‘ is an abstract aerial photograph of a large pond that had dried out I had discovered close to Lake Tyrrell in Victoria, Australia. Scorched Earth is the second of two photos taken at the same time in slightly different locations; the first photo, ‘Cracked Earth, ‘ is shown in previews and profile. The ochre colours of the Earth shine through in this photograph; I also like some of the textures found throughout the photograph.
