‘Remiges’ is an abstract aerial photograph of one of the many ponds located on the way to and surrounding Yorke Peninsula, South Australia.

At various times of the day and year, the colour spectrum can be anywhere from purple to blue, orange to white, or silver to pink.

The large quill feathers of a bird’s wing are called Remiges, the primary and secondary contour feathers. This photograph reminded me of the wings of a bird spread out in full flight.

The photograph is printed on 310gsm 100% cotton rag archival paper. Other printing options are available, including size, matts, frames, and canvas. Please message me for customised options and costings.
