‘Refraction’ is an abstract aerial photograph of the pink salt Lake Bumbunga, Lochiel, South Australia. Lake Bumbunga is derived from the Aboriginal word “Parnpangka”, meaning “rainwater lake”.
On this particular day, the wind was blowing over 40 km per hour, making flying the drone extremely difficult; however, I was still lucky enough to be able to capture this beautiful photograph. l was drawn to the beautiful variations in soil and water in this photograph; the variations are dry clay in different stages of saturation, and water, which often displays shades of pink and blues.
The photograph is printed on 310gsm 100% cotton rag archival paper. Other printing options are available, including size, matts, frames, and canvas. Please message me for customised options and costings.
