‘Lost Souls‘ is an Abstract Aerial Photograph of a lagoon located in Cobdogla, South Australia. Cobdogla is a town in the Riverland region of South Australia. The town is on the Murray River, 232 kilometres northeast of the state capital, Adelaide.
The stark images of hundreds of dead gum trees provide a unique canvas. Even though the souls of these trees have long gone, they continue to provide life, with birds, fish, yabbies and much more wildlife still calling them home.
The name Cobdogla comes from an Aboriginal word meaning ‘land of plenty‘. Cobdogla is now a great family getaway with a riverfront caravan park and museum. For keen fishermen, there is also a boat ramp at ‘Bruno Bay’ with some great fishing spots.
The photograph is printed on 260gsm premium white satin lustre paper. Other printing options are available, including size, matts, frames, and canvas. Please message me for customised options and costings.
