‘Lonesome Sunset‘ is an aerial drone photograph of one of the many dead trees surrounding Lake Bonney, Barmera, South Australia.
Lake Bonney is famous for its landscape photographs of the trees surrounding the lake. This photograph was taken on the cusp of dusk, the sun barely shining over the horizon, the water almost still, with only the wisp of wind creating the smallest of ripples in the beautiful colour of the water.
Lake Bonney is around 220 kilometres northeast of Adelaide in South Australia is a well-known spot for photographers to put on their must-visit list, purely for the fact that stands of dead River Red Gums make a fantastic subject to photograph, especially with a spectacular sunset to highlight their silhouetted structures and reflections.
The photograph is printed on 260gsm premium white satin lustre paper. Other printing options are available, including size, matts, frames, and canvas. Please message me for customised options and costings.
