Goyder’s Star‘ is an original aerial abstract landscape photograph inspired by my love for finding unique landscapes and showcasing the unique patterns of the earth. I travelled along the Goyder’s Line in South Australia earlier in the year and stumbled across some unique landscape patterns which caught my eye. This particular photograph is the intersection of five property boundaries and separated by a dry creek bed. The culmination of the five properties and the creek bed provides a star shape form. The textures and swirls of the cultivated land provide further interest.

The Goyder Line is a line of reliable rainfall in South Australia. It separates land suitable for crops from general grazing land. It originated when the then Surveyor-General of South Australia, George Goyder, evaluated pastoral properties in the north of the State after a period of severe drought.

The photograph is printed on 310gsm 100% cotton rag archival paper. Other printing options are available, including size, matts, frames, and canvas. Please message me for customised options and costings.
