‘Cracked Earth’ is an abstract aerial photograph of a large pond that had dried out I had discovered close to Lake Tyrrell in Victoria, Australia. The patterns left over from salt, clay and vegetation give you the feeling of being in a plane from an extremely high altitude and looking down through the whisps of clouds to see the patterns formed across the surface of the earth. Cracked Earth is one of two photos taken at the same time in slightly different locations; the second photo, ‘Scorched Earth, ‘ is shown in previews.

The photograph is printed on 310gsm 100% cotton rag archival paper. Other printing options are available, including size, matts, frames, and canvas. Please message me for customised options and costings.
