‘Caeruleus’ is an abstract aerial photograph of a dry salt lake located on the way to and surrounding Yorke Peninsula, South Australia.

This was a photo in where I loved the unique patterns that were made by the evaporation of water, but the colours were uninspiring. So I took to opportunity to play around with the colours and saturation levels that gave me this beautiful variation of blues and greens whilst maintaining the abstract elements of the original photograph… even the little footsteps someone made crossing the dried lake. My creative process can be simple or complex, depending on the ideas I am exploring and trying to communicate. I constantly experiment and explore new techniques in order to best capture my photographic subjects.

The photograph is printed on 310gsm 100% cotton rag archival paper. Other printing options are available, including size, matts, frames, and canvas. Please message me for customised options and costings.
